Let's go to Butuan City

May 19 would be a big day for Butuan City.  A promising and booming city. Nestled beside the huge Agusan River, rising water on rainy season is not new to them. Government have started doing drainage works in main city streets. Tricycle is the means of transportation. Mulitcabs also ply on selected routes.

If you are taking a bus (Bachelor Express, Inc.) coming from Surigao City or Davao City it will pass the Macapagal bridge before reaching the city proper. You can also reach Butuan via Cagayan de Oro city and via Cebu city or Jagna, Bohol, boats dock at Nasipit about 20km. Boats coming from are Sulpicio lines, Super Ferry and sometimes Gothong. And the most convenient and shortest way is by airplane form Manila or Cebu.

There are lots of hotels and pension houses like Karaga Hotel, Luxury Hotel. Emerald Garden Hotel, Prince Hotel and Almont Hotels. The newest is Wayfarer Pension house located at T. Calo St. And there is also this Gloretto Guest House.

Gaisano Mall is the only mall but inside are Pizza House, Greenwhich, Jollibee and Joonies. Commercial banks are BPI, BDO, PNB, LBP, Metrobank and some other banks.
